About Barry

Barry is a partner and head of our insolvency & corporate restructuring team. Barry acts for all stakeholders, including liquidators, receivers and examiners, in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and debt restructuring cases.

Barry also advises on the resolution of regulatory and other corporate and commercial disputes.

  • Senior executives of Petroceltic on their claims in the examinership of Petroceltic
  • Hammerson Plc and Allianz Real Estate on their joint venture to acquire the Project Jewel loans (including loans secured on Dundrum Town Centre) from NAMA for €1.85 billion

  • The Quinn International Property Group on the retrieval of assets, books and records following the appointment of Kieran Wallace, share receiver, as shareholder of the group

  • NAMA on the enforcement of security and related disputes against a number of high profile debtors, including Treasury Holdings
