We are currently seeking to recruit a PA/Legal Secretary to join the Housing Team in our CRE Department. This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive professional organisation. Prior experience in a busy and demanding role is essential.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ solid legal experience with strong organisational and interpersonal skills as well as a disciplined ability to complete work, prioritise own tasks and manage time effectively. The candidate will have a positive, helpful and cooperative attitude.
The role will involve a broad range of duties including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a professional, efficient, and proactive secretarial service for a very busy Housing Team of partners, associates, and solicitors
- Answering phones, taking messages, logging daily calls, follow up on calls for the whole team
- Digital dictation and production of all documents, correspondence, reports and presentations, contracts, agreements, accurately and in a timely manner
- Diary management for the Head of the CRE team and 2 other partners
- Arranging meetings internally and externally and confirming with attendees in advance
- Managing the receipt and distribution of title documents on ATR for various banking institutions from time to time
- General administration, team coordination and other ad-hoc work as required from time to time
Required Capabilities:
- Strong Commercial Property legal experience required
- Dicta-typing and PA/secretarial duties for a number of fee earners
- Strong MS office 2010 and other IT skills essential
- Case management experience (Partner for Windows & i-manage would be a distinct advantage)
- Excellent typing skills required at least 60+ wpm or more
- Excellent administration skills and an ability to prioritise work is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative with excellent organisational skills
- A high degree of diplomacy and professionalism required with a pleasant and positive disposition
- Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Other ad-hoc work as required within the CRE Housing Team

The salary will be commensurate with experience. An immediate start would be ideal.
