About Imelda
Imelda is a partner and Chair of Beauchamps. Imelda’s practice areas straddle corporate governance, commercial real estate and franchising. In relation to corporate governance, Imelda advises a range of public bodies and public and private companies on all aspects of governance, including compliance, conflict management, and advisory matters. Imelda's commercial property expertise focuses on investment and development work, landlord and tenant, both office and retail, and she has a particular expertise in franchising. She is consistently named, by peers and clients, as an expert in the International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers and regularly writes and speaks on the topic.
Imelda advises public bodies and private entities across a broad range of sectors including: Financial Services, FDI, Local Government, Education, Health, Ports, Housing and Real Estate, Charities and Not for Profit.
From 2001 to 2008 Imelda served as Beauchamps’ Managing Partner. She has been Chair of the Partnership since 2011. Imelda was a Council Member of Dublin Chamber of Commerce from 2003 to 2014 and was President of Dublin Chamber of Commerce for 2011. Imelda holds Board positions with a range of State bodies, regulatory bodies and not-for-profit organisations.
