This deal is important as it is the first ever PPP investment in primary care centres in Ireland and it represents the first ever capital investment in Irish health facilities by the EIB. The Primary Care Centre PPP project is also one of the first projects to be financed under the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI) initiative established to support investment across Europe.
